We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Associate (4+ years’ PAE) to join our exceptional team of lawyers, based in our Eagle Street office in the Brisbane CBD. About the Role
As a senior lawyer in our team, you’ll play a crucial role in our success. You’ll be responsible for:
- Processing, managing and leading complex transactions with direct client contact.
- Drafting lending precedents and managing precedent materials, honing in on your compliance skillset.
- Providing advice on various aspects of banking and property law, further expanding your knowledge and expertise.
- Engaging with PEXA across all jurisdictions, learning the latest in digital transactions.
- Working collaboratively with and mentor junior lawyers, staff and paralegals.
We’re looking for someone with:
- 4+ years’ experience within Property or Banking & Finance.
- Exceptional client relationship skills to foster trust and rapport.
- Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills to keep projects running smoothly.
- A passion for working with structure, processes, and procedures that enhance efficiency.

Finance Officer

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team and support our Finance Manager in the management of our trust accounts.
About the role
This full time position will work closely with the Finance Manager to assist in the day-to-day management of the firm’s financial operations, with a strong focus on trust account management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing experience in trust accounting looking to grow within a supportive legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Manager in managing the trust accounts in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Perform daily reconciliations of trust accounts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support the preparation and processing of trust transactions, including payments and receipts.
- Monitor and review trust balances to ensure proper allocation and compliance.
- Assist in preparing financial reports related to trust accounts and other accounting functions.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager as required.
- Maintain and ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive financial data.
- Assist with audit processes and respond to any audit queries related to trust accounts.
- Support other finance-related tasks as required.
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years’ previous experience working with trust accounts in a legal or financial services environment (essential)
- Basic understanding of trust accounting principles and legal compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a small team and communicate professionally.
